The purpose of this study was to develop a holistic organizational diagnostic model to identify areas of opportunity in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in order to implement interventions that improve their functioning and strengthen their competitiveness. The research was designed using an exploratory, descriptive, and explanatory approach, based on a comparative analysis of the main methodologies and models of organizational diagnosis and intervention. Based on this analysis, a model was structured that simultaneously integrates the formal and informal variables that characterize MSMEs, allowing for a comprehensive approach to organizational dynamics. Among the results obtained, the construction of a model that considers both organizational analysis and human behavior stands out, constituting a holistic tool that facilitates the detection of critical areas and strengths in the companies studied. This comprehensive approach fosters the generation of strategic action plans aimed at resolving specific problems and improving internal processes, thereby increasing productivity and the utilization of human talent. The main conclusion is that applying this model offers organizations an innovative tool for strategic decision-making and the implementation of continuous improvement processes. By integrating structural aspects and the dynamics of human behavior in a balanced way, organizational efficiency and effectiveness are strengthened, while the sustainability and competitiveness of SMEs in changing environments are boosted. The originality of this model lies in its ability to articulate organizational diagnosis and intervention from a broad and practical perspective that contributes to the comprehensive development of organizations.
