Abstract

The objective was to determine the relationship that exists between the management of human talent and innovation, perceived by the managers of industrial MSMEs in the city of Durango, Mexico. The study was non-experimental, cross-sectional and correlational. A survey was applied to 337 managers belonging to the sector of the companies studied and the multiple linear regression statistical analysis technique was used. The proposed model is valid in addition to the fact that it complies with the assumptions of linearity, independence, normality, and homoscedasticity. It was shown that talent management has a degree of association with innovation in the companies studied. Therefore, it is understood that business innovation is a factor without which organizations will be at a disadvantage compared to their competitors, as it is the substantive part of their competitive advantage, but it cannot be generated if there is no adequate human talent management process.
